Jungle fun in the sun
A spectacular river with dramatic waterfalls is the backdrop
for these platforms carefully built in the Canopy of the Rainforest.
Traverse from tree to tree and platform to platform using
pulleys on horizontal traverse cables, as they sail through
the treetops of the tropical rainforest canopy, and over the
trails far below. Expert guides assist you in this exciting
journey through the different layers of the virgin rain forests
and explain what's going on around you, from the time you
leave the ground, until you rappel back down to the forest
floor.
The main
objective is to provide tourists a unique activity and ecological
experience while, at the same time, helping to aid in the
preservation of the world's endangered rain forests through
direct financial support to conservation, education and reforestation
efforts.
 Titi
Canopy at Quepos is a tour which can be enjoyed by people
from all ages. Everyone will travel in suspension cables from
platform to platform while enjoying the Humid Tropical Forest.
These cables are specially designed by expert engineers who
made it one of the most wonderful and exciting adventures
in Costa Rica. Our clients are equipped with high tech harnesses
to ensure their safety.
All of
our proffessional guides will be happy to take you to the
Primary and Secondary Forest where you can enjoy different
types of animals, birds, insects and plants.
Titi Canopy
Tour have 16 platforms four of which are build on the ground
and the other twelve hang 90 feet above it from robust trees
in the primary forest, with ages ranging from 100 to 200 years.
The contruction
of those platforms, which includes stainless steel cables
and metal platforms, allow them to hold 2000 lbs. or 10 people
each.
 The
cables between platforms are 1/2 inch tick and strongly fixed
to the trees which hold the platforms.
Titi Canopy
Tours use harnesses only of the best brands which can hold
up to 3000 kilograms as well as the leach from which they
hang from the rollers that slide through the cables.
