The chef
began developing your culinary skills preparing typical meals
for local fishermen.
I then
became an assistant at the Hotel Byblos Restaurant and trained
under the supervision of Marcel Koury, who is now the executive
chef of the restaurant at Hotel Marriott in Los Sueños.
I began developing my skills in French cuisine at the Hotel
Byblos. Soon Rene Mansuelle, the French chef and owner of
the hotel, joined our team and shared his culinary secrets
with me. Two years later I began at the Mira Olas Restaurant
at the Hotel Kamuk, also under the supervision of chef Marcel
Koury. Here I was able to emphasize my skills with tropical
Costa Rican meals.
The following
year We reopened the Sukia Restaurant and prepared French
and Spanish meals in my own style, combining aspects of everything
I had learned to date. Two years later I was the head chef
at the Sunspot Bar and Grill in the exclusive Hotel Makanda
By The Sea. During this time I had the opportunity to develop
my own style, creating aromatic, colorful sauces and preparing
exquisite vegetables, and using the freshest seafood from
the Pacific Ocean.
After
15 years of experience working in the restaurant business,
our desire is to satisfy diverse tastes, provide outstanding
personalized service, beautiful presentation and quality in
each one of my meals. Permit me to enter your kitchen and
leave with you the aromas and flavors our creations.
Services
includes: Shopping (for daily service only), meal preparation,
serving, cleanup. The cost of groceries is not included. Prices
are for up to 12 guests.
The Chef
will consult with his guests about their meal preferences
and scheduling prior to the reservation. He has a very diverse
menu to appeal to all tastes. He usually has an assistant
to help with the meal. All of his assistants are local chefs.
Dinner
consists of appetizers and drinks served before dinner, a
choice of salad or soup, a main course and dessert.
