Even more abundant and varied than the wildlife of Quepos and Manuel Antonio is the melange of restaurants and bars in this once-sleepy, but now wide-awake, Central Pacific port town.
Oven-fired pizza, grilled or blackened snook, Tex-Mex, saucy French fare - you'll find it all in the Quepos and Manuel Antonio region. And there's at least one bar on every block downtown, which makes Quepos one of the world's most convenient locations for a pub crawl!
If you've caught your own fish for dinner, several places downtown will cook your catch, including the Grand Escape, the Banco Bar and Dos Locos. So will most of the hotel restaurants.
Café Milagro, with locations in downtown Quepos and another on the road to Manuel Antonio, is a coffee lover's dream come true - and a perfect place to wake up in the morning. The Official Quepos Pub Crawl
The X-games of drinking take place day and night in a smattering of downtown bars, which also offer an assortment of dining options as well as the perfect stage for a pub crawl. The most practical starting point for a pub crawl is Dos Locos, because the open-air bar's vivid green and yellow colors make it easy for everyone to find. After a beer or Guaro Sour, you can turn left and hit up Sargento Garcia’s, a local watering hole and lively atmosphere. Across from the Quepos waterfront is El Gran Escape with a tasty selection of cocktails and beers. Once the sunsets, make sure to visit Musik, above Century 21, or Republik for dancing the night away.

Restaurant Reviews: |
| I recommend Parque Sushi, by the smaller entrance to the Manuel Antonio National Park. They serve a variety of sushi, Japanese, Filipino, and some American food there -- something for everyone. Service was leisurely, the people were very friendly, and the food was very good and resonably priced. Lois Watson - 01/03/2011 |
| Marlintini's review.
Are you looking for a fantastic martini? How about
some awesome food? Look no further.....Marlintini's
is the place for you!We stumbled across this little
haven while vacationing in Manual Antonio. Marlintini's
is truly a lovely gem. My friends had the Mahi Mahi
& I had a steak. The food was super & so
was the service. This restaurant is decorated with
a fantastic bar & a beautiful dining area upper
/ lower (open air).Pop by for a visit on your next
trip to Costa Rica. The martini bar list is sure
to make your taste buds water! Sandy Allen, The

| I was there in february,
and the best meals and service that i had were at
the Cafe Agua Azul. - albrindamour - |
| Gato Negro Restaurant. I would
recommend that nobody eat at this place. In 2 weeks
in Costa Rica we had only one bad experience and
it was eating here! The service was awful. I have
never been so rudely treated by anyone in any restaurant
in 45 years of my life! To wait over half an hour
while the waiter was talking on the phone and ignoring
us is unacceptable!!I emailed them about this situation
and never heard back, no apology, nothing. I will
make sure to let everyone know to stay away from
there!! - P McGahan. |
| We found a new restaurant named
"Le Menos," It was opened on Nov 2008.
The location is on beach near entrance of the national
wildlife reserve. The owner, "Rafael"
is awesome and the food was great! We highly recommend
this as a place for the american palate to eat.
Large menu. Great drinks, awesome atmosphere! -
