One of the most adventurous tours in Quepos/Manuel Antonio is the white-water rafting on the nearby Savegre and Naranjo rivers. The rafting excursions include sections of Class 2 and 4 rapids, depending on the time of year. This is tour is a great way to see the beauty and wonders of the rainforest that Costa Rica has to offer.
Six Hour Rio Savegre tour
Take a trip deep into the jungle for a fabulous adventure on one of the best and cleanest rivers in Central America. You will have time for a short hike to amazing waterfalls and also time to swim and explore. During the May to December you will find Class 3 rapids with waves like a roller coaster. The dry season (Dec-April) offers a more mellow ride but is still fun. For more of a challenge, you can do the tour in a Ducky (inflatable kayak).
