The very
complex ecosystems that surround Quepos and Manuel Antonio
are so full of life and diversity that they practically call
you to come in and enjoy.
The Turtle
Adventure Night Tour takes place at the beach Playa el Rey.
From the ranger station located 30 km (18 miles) south of
Quepos, we will walk along the beach observing the night life
and listening to the sounds of the night creatures. We will
generally encounter the red eye leaf frog, the gladiator tree
frog, many nocturnal birds and of course the turtles - Green
Turtles, the Olive Ridley Turtle, the Hawksbill Turtle. With
a stroke of luck we will find the Leatherback Turtle - the
second biggest reptile in the world.
